Tenerife Mission - July 2024
Wednesday 3rd July - Tuesday 9th July
A small team from Encounter and Restore Community Church will be heading over to Tenerife to spend a week serving at Tenerife Family Church situated in the Costa del Silencio region of the island.
Tenerife Family Church
The church is situated in the south of the island and has a real heart for outreach and evangelism. Often seen as a place to escape to, the reality is that life in Tenerife can be tough and messy with big issues such as drug and alcohol addiction, homelessness, prostitution and financial ruin being very prevalent. Tenerife Family Church seek to ‘Love God, Love People’ and help people experience the transforming love of Jesus.
Sharing the Gospel & blessing the School
The team will be involved in:
Evangelism and outreach to the local community
Helping to lead children’s and youth groups
Running a family event
Preaching and sharing their testimonies
