Encounter is a brilliant opportunity for anyone age 18+ to spend a year in North London - transforming lives in schools, churches and communities.

 

What can I expect?

  • Placed in a church in North London for the year.

  • Involved in a variety of groups and projects in local churches and the community each week.

  • Receive weekly equipping and training in a variety of different practical & theological subjects.

  • Part of the Engage schools team helping to deliver assemblies, lessons and CUs in local secondary schools.

  • Opportunity to go on an overseas mission trip during your year.

Training Sessions: 

Monday afternoons are set aside for training. We have local and national church and ministry leaders come and deliver the training on a whole range of different theological and practical subjects. These training sessions are open to anyone to attend.

    Vivi is part of the 24/25 Encounter programme. She is from the west Germany and love books and music. Her main focus for this year is growing a stronger connection to Jesus and getting clarity from God about his plan for her life.

  • Nash (Nathaniel)

    Encounter Student (CHASE Family Church)

    Nash is part of the 24/25 Encounter programme and comes from Enfield, London. He wants to further solidify his relationship with Jesus and get involved with community work and serving in Church. In his free time, he enjoys volleyball, games and wants to get back into reading books. Nash is also going on mission with YWAM this year.
