Liz Patten
Liz first came to Winchmore Hill Christian Fellowship (now Chase Family Church), as a young teenager in 1975, after being saved. She was baptised at age 19 and accepted the possibility of a call to missions in her early twenties. She has been supported in full time mission by the church since 1989, when she went to the Cameroon to work with the Full Gospel Mission there. In 1992, she joined CLC International, a global Mission working in Christian publishing, retail and wholesale distribution of Bibles, Christian books and other resources. Liz has served with CLC at various locations in the UK, Portugal, Angola (on secondment to the Swiss Alliance Mission) and in Mozambique. Since 2009 until the present date, she has served as CLC Africa’s regional director and currently offers consultancy for the CLC ministry in Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mozambique and Sierra Leone. In 2021, Liz returned to the UK from Mozambique, where she lived for the previous seven years. She is passionate about Africa and has made dozens of missions-motivated trips to that continent. Currently (February 2022) she is seeking God to confirm whether her next base should be in the UK or overseas.
